About

Traveling broadens perspectives; inspires new creative solutions; strengthens our ability to relate to many different people; under various circumstances. The more I travel and the more diverse cultures, people, and experiences I’m exposed to, the greater my world view.

Upon returning from trips, people ask to hear my stories and see my pictures.  And it’s important that we all share our Travel Tales which can serve as inspiration to others.

Although I’ve embarked on many journeys, I decided to start this blog now, in response to people’s enthusiasm about my upcoming Polar Bear expedition (Nov 2008).  I’m excited to share my experiences and stories about the polar bears, as well as tales from Bali, Morocco, India, Thailand, Ghana, Ecuador, and “local” adventures in New Orleans, Montana, Big Sur, New York…

While some of my travels are dedicated solely to having fun (with personal growth along the way), most are in the spirit of learning, exchanging ideas and stories, contributing to local communities, and positively impacting the Earth and its inhabitants (animals and people alike).

Please feel free to share your experiences on this site as well.  I look forward to your stories, comments, and questions.

Off to see the world….

I just found your blog spot via the GBF. I haven’t read everything yet, but I look forward to it. I also really enjoyed your pictures. It was a pleasure getting to know you in Churchill and hopefully our paths will cross again in the future. I am also on Facebook almost every day.

  3. Thank you, Renee! It was really fun getting to know you and sharing the adventures with you as well. Looking forward to more in the future.
